Coronation Square is a mixed-use, integrated development officially launched by the Sultan of Johor in 2015. This exciting development will reshape the urban landscape of Johor Bahru CBD.

Coronation Square is the first project to kick-start the 250-acre Ibrahim International Investment District (IIBD) – a mega development by JCorp and the Johor state government. IIBD will become the catalyst to transform Johor Bahru city into a world-class metropolis. This will rejuvenate the city and form the investment attraction for locals, Singapore and South East Asian countries.

Consisting of a retail mall and six high-rise towers that includes serviced apartments, office towers, a hotel and medical suites, Coronation Square is marked by the 35-storey Bank Rakyat tower and KPJ Medical Suites which are close to completion.

The highlight of Coronation Square is the link to the upcoming Rapid Transit System (RTS). The RTS will soon see commuters travelling to Singapore’s Woodlands in mere six minutes, and to Orchard Road in 30 minutes. With covered walkways, pedestrians can easily walk to the RTS and JB Sentral Immigration Complex. This convenience will also mean opening opportunities for investments in Johor Bahru and enhancing bilateral trade ties with Singapore.

Another positive change to be expected is the intricate network of flyovers that will link vehicles from Jalan Tebrau and Jalan Tun Abdul Razak directly to Coronation Square via Jalan Abdullah Ibrahim, Jalan Trus and connected to the surrounding existing highway network.
